AI Usage Policy
OVERVIEW
At Mythic Loot, we’re passionate about authenticity, creativity, and staying true to the spirit of the tabletop and fantasy communities we serve. We know that many of our customers and fans care deeply about how art and content are created—especially when it comes to the use of artificial intelligence.
Our Position on AI in Creative Work
We are neither for nor against AI-generated artwork or content. Instead, we believe that intent and transparency matter most. When AI is used thoughtfully, with a clear purpose, and when its use is communicated openly, we believe it can be a valid and responsible tool—particularly when it helps creators achieve their vision in ways that would otherwise be impractical due to time or budget constraints.
How We Use AI at Mythic Loot
We use AI-generated imagery in limited and clearly defined ways—specifically for section background images on our website. This allows us to keep our visual identity consistent, stay within our budget, and meet important deadlines, such as our shop launch. Without the ability to use AI in this narrow context, we would have faced delays of several months and significantly higher costs, which would have made it difficult to bring our vision for Mythic Loot to life in a timely way.
What We Don’t Use AI For
We want to be very clear:
We do not use AI in any of our products.
Everything we sell—whether it's 3D-printed miniatures, dice, accessories, or product packaging—has been fully designed by hand, by real artists and makers. We take pride in supporting human creativity in the products we bring to our customers.
Our Commitment to Transparency
If and when we use AI in the future, we will continue to do so transparently, ethically, and with purpose. We believe that honest communication builds trust, and we want our customers to always feel confident about what they’re buying and supporting.
If you ever have questions about how something was made, we’re happy to share more. Our community matters to us—and so does our creative integrity and that of our designer(s).
